Ingredients
- Soy meat 100 g
- Sliced onions 50 g
- Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
- Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
- Green chilis 2 pods
- Sliced tomato 50 g
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Chili powder 1 tbsp
- Roasted curry powder 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
- Pepper 1 tbsp
- Tomato sauce 1tbsp
- Curry leaves
- Pandan leaves
- Cinnamon
- Cardamom
- Cloves
- Salt
- Water
Steps
- Boil soy meat in hot water for about 5 minutes.
- After that, squeeze the soy meat until the water is well removed.
- Add oil to a pan on a high-heat stove.
- Add chopped ginger, garlic, onion, green chili, and tomato, and cook the ingredients for 5 – 6 minutes or until the onions turn slightly golden.
- Then add curry leaves, pandan, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves, and let it fry.
- Add chili powder, roasted curry powder, and pepper, and let it fry in oil.
- Finally, add the tomato sauce and salt.
- Add the soy meat, and mix well.
- Pour the ½ cup of water and stir well.
- Cover the pot with a lid and cook for about 8 – 9 minutes until the water is reduced.
- Open the lid and stir well.
- Close the lid, keep it for a while, and serve.
