Ingredients
- Young jackfruit 500g
- Sliced onions 100 g
- Chopped garlic 1 tbsp
- Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
- Green chilis 3 pods
- Oil 3 tbsp
- Chili powder 2 tbsp
- Roasted curry powder 2 tbsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
- Mustard seed 1tbsp
- Goraka 3-4 pieces
- Curry leaves
- Pandan leaves
- Cinnamon
- Cardamom
- Cloves
- Salt
- Water
- Thin milk ½ cup
- Thick milk 1 cup
Steps
- Clean the baby jackfruit and cut it into pieces.
- Add oil to a pan on a high-heat stove.
- Add mustard seed, chopped garlic, onion, green chili, and ginger, and cook the ingredients over low heat until they release their aroma. 3-5 minutes.
- Then add curry leaves, pandan, cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves, and let it fry.
- Add chili powder, roasted curry powder, and turmeric powder, and let it fry in oil.
- Add the baby jackfruit, and mix well.
- Add the Goraka pieces and salt, and then mix well.
